At COURAGEOUS COMMUNITY EVANSVILLE , our mission is to build community, develop skills, and inspire creativity.
Our organization serves the residents of the greater Evansville, Indiana area, with a special interest in the underserved, disadvantaged, and disabled.

At COURAGEOUS COMMUNITY EVANSVILLE , our mission is to build community, develop skills, and inspire creativity.
Our organization serves the residents of the greater Evansville, Indiana area, with a special interest in the underserved, disadvantaged, and disabled.
We provide group activities that include the arts, sewing, use of textiles, creative activities, therapy animals, and faith based education that builds the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Courageous Community Evansville is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Classes & Events
We offer free classes that include sewing, quilting, painting, weaving, crochet, drawing, making jewelry, working with paper, how to read/write music, and women's bible study.
All equipment and materials are provided.
New classes and events are introduced throughout the year.
Our classes and events are for individuals that are 18 years old and
older unless otherwise specified.

Our Impact
In 2023 we provided 121 free classes where we taught individuals how to sew, quilt, crochet, and do paper art.
We worked with over 70 individuals and served 384 meals.
198 Scarves were crocheted,
150 blessing bags were distributed,
80 cards were made with seniors,
10 baby quilts lovingly sewed, and
34 blankets were made for animals.
